I have used this twine before in canary yellow, orange and hi viz yellow. I don't like the hi viz yellow it seems to have a softer texture than the others. Was wondering if any of you have used the pink and what the texture of that is like. If it is like the canary yellow and orange I will get it, if it is like the hi viz I wont. Some of you lads might think I am of the wrong opinion that it seems softer but that is how I see it anyway. Going to order a few bowls of twine when I decide, any opinions please. Thank you.

Think I must be cross eyed getting r and s wrong way round.

Hareydave, yes the hi viz seems soft, if catches crap more, brambles and the like stick to it, don't like it. Will go with canary yellow if no one can recommend the pink. not getting kinky or nowt but I just want something easy to see, Thanks again.

Your right, there is a definite colour/texture/thickness difference. Cant comment on the pink as I`ve not used any in a while. All feel the same wet and weathered.

I've only used agouti's brown long net twine,I know he also has it in green, these are a lot finer than the coloured twines generally sold as for purse nets

Hareydave have you weighed the spools? its surprising the weight difference when you do. never had a spool under 500gm but a good few nearer the 575gms

never came into my head to check the weight ..I think id prefer the softer material..i had waxed hemp nets one time an when stretched out tight they were like a walking stick

the pink seems fine i got a couple of spools on my last order thats all he had but it knits fine

the pink is fine to knit with.i got a couple of spools off Nige as thats all he had but yes its ok.and yes joe the i viz dohes seem softer i don,t like the red either

Theres a diffrence in the batches i got 6 red spools and you can see it but it still knits the same , but using diffrent colours from diffrent suppliers its amazing how big the diffrence is

i stick to orange n red from agouti but thinking of doing the middle black anyone done this ?? cheers

Im working with Pink, Blue ,Red ,Salmon. and a light yellow just now .But Canary Yellow nets sell out first and are most asked for

I have tried a few times to buy the twine on agoutis website. get to the chcheckout ok then can't get any further, asked for a contact number but no reply, any ideas please.
