Guest Frank
Right, their does not seem to be a poll option in the greyhound section, so i have put it here. Im doing a reasearch into this at the moment, so its for all greyhound fellas out their. Those who feed complete food only. Thanks, Quote Link to post
Guest SJM
I try to feed mostly raw but I do buy a bit of meal in and its called Cumbrian green special or something like that, it comes from a company in Carlisle, its about 21% protein, keeps the adult dogs and the terriers ticking over, allthough its not good enough to feed pups with. The dogs seem to like it and it gives them nice hard small shites that are easy to pick up with the shovel Quote Link to post
ghengis 4
when i kept racing greyhounds we always few Red Mills Racer did use excell a few times but found the high protein made SOME DOGS hyper and aggressive. Quote Link to post

Guest Frank
Some over here, also use Gain puppy and sapling, its ment to be good stuff, with calcium ect, most swear by it, any opions? Thanks so far by the way. I know barf is best, but im surprised how many feed complete, especialy Gain. I myself give pups, raw, chicken, venison, beef, rabbit, hare and redmills tracker, but am thinking of replacing the Tracker with Gain, after hearing good reports from it? Any experinces with Gain puppy and sapling folks? Cheers. Quote Link to post
tote 856
Hey Frank, anybody would think you are the marketing manager for Red Mills We can either choose Red Mills,Red Mills,Red Mills, Gain or other. I tried the greyhounds on Red Mills once years ago Won't be trying it again, they were sh!tting like dairy cows My pup gets Gain 28% aswell as raw rabbit. The greyhounds get a pound of either beef/chicken or turkey a day mixed in with thier nuts which I get off my mate who owns a pet shop. Quote Link to post
luke 2
purina pro performance expensive but hard to beat Quote Link to post

Chaz 6
Frank at work we feed Red Mills racer to dogs that are racing but every so often we change to tracker for a couple of weeks just to give the dogs bodies a rest from having a lot of protein 365 days a year , retired or long term injured and seasonal bitches get either tracker or some other lower protein food and then are built back up to racer as they come back to the track Quote Link to post
bowers1986 3
**RED MILLS RACER*** Quote Link to post
