nans pat 2,575 Posted February 28, 2015 Report Share Posted February 28, 2015 just touched with a sea rod there in a house clearance .2 piece about 8ft fiberglass cork handle rubber inside the eyes looks like 60s style .seen a stamp on it there ;modern arms company bromly kent;any youse have any stuff from them just wonering are they a good make. I recall Modern Arms tackle, more commonly known as Marco. The lining to the rings is almost certainly agatine (agate) which at the time was used quite extensively as it was more resilient to nylon lines, which used to wear away the softish metal of the rings a lot quicker. They were just one of the many companies around at the time, like Efgeeco etc. I believe they also made guns. 2 Quote Link to post
