is your dog depressed

don't know about OP but I got mine cause my dog was on deaths door. Well so we all thought, his temp went over the safe limit and was on verge of brain damage. Think they gave me the diazzies to ease

Find a local no mark drugy and flog them for £10 each and then go to your doc's and ask for some for pain relief, that's what they prescribe them for now

A tenner ?? They flogg them for a lot less that that ...

What ti was beginning of last year did my back in my doc prescribed them for it, had a couple the rest went down the pan, when my daughter came home from uni for hol's she said could of made a few quid their dad £10 a pop London prices ,silly feckers more money than sense.

Beat me to it leegreen  60 ml would put 99.9% on here out for the night that's for sure  but i do know some drugs affect dogs differently than they do to us but even so that does seem a big dose for a day.

I claim no expertise, but dogs have a faster metabolism and higher body temp than humans, so they'd need a larger or more frequent dose ??

9/10 vets take the piss re Priceing

Lad I know took his bitch a couple of weeks ago as she was right down in herself

Lost weight

Lethargic ect

Charged him over 200 quid and said we can't find what's wrong with her try her on these Antibiotics.

Goverment should make them adhere to maximum charges for every treatment. Operation

Procedure and meds going so they can't take the piss.

First thing they ask you is are you insured ffs

If you say yes they bump the price up this bumping folks insurance premiums up.

It's a racket for sure

Took my beddy bitch to vet said she needed a operation on her ears took her in went and picked her up later on said they couldent find out and tried to give is a bill for £900 quid.

Why would you give a dog diazispan? Thought they were sleepers

don't know about OP but I got mine cause my dog was on deaths door. Well so we all thought, his temp went over the safe limit and was on verge of brain damage. Think they gave me the diazzies to ease him cause they really thought he was a goner. So I done all I could at home to save him.

MoChara is now nearly 7 years old and fit as a fiddle.! Vets can be wrong too.

Might have been to prevent seizures with a high temp. Over here they give it to dogs for anxiety.

We had an Alsation years ago that got

2-5mg every fire work night and it knocked him out, couldn't walk property, if he tried, so 60 mg a day, the dog wouldn't move for 24 hours.

Don't know about everybody else's vets, but mine generally charges a consultation fee on the first visit of said problem........usually £20 and then there would be the charge of the tablets on top...... Say £8...., total =£28.......

So if that's the case your next prescription.....if you need any more for example would be just £8...... Hope that makes sense.

I'm on really strong painkillers for my back and tablets for depression, anxiety and stress which put you to sleep in 15 mins GUARANTEED ..I've plenty enough on stock to kill a hundred dogs let alone give one pain relief and sedate it haha..lad had a terrier vets for two hernias removed..£650!! I told him to pay £45 and leave the cnut them vets just take advantage knowing you have little or no other option..cnuts of the highest order

Edited to add the terrier is still here minus the hernias haha
