GruffaloGriff 1,859
I really lie the over all style of your blades as we drew up a few similar ones a while back could take apart one of our elk with those quite easily imo ,an the shed looks nice an cozy if i had a wood burner like that in mine my ole woeman would never see me lol. Thanks. Yes they are perfect for cutting up a carcus. Actually work quite well for skinning too, just done some lambs and giving tanning the hides a go so used them to skin & scrape the hides. Just thinking, do you have any surplus elk antlers, needing some antler for handles? Might consider some kind of trade? Edited March 13, 2015 by GruffaloGriff
GruffaloGriff 1,859
Had the old forge fired up today so made up a couple more leaf spring blanks. Cut them out with the plasma cutter. Got both out of one landy spring Heated them up and flattened them out and tapered the cutting edge wit the forge & anvil.
