earth-thrower 493
I've tried a lot of gloves and these are what I use, they don't affect dexterity, they are thin hard wearing and 100% totally waterproof across the full glove, as there designed for oil/chemicals. These look excellent, Ian. I wonder if the XL, will do me ? As, thats the size i am, with disposable ones. Quote Link to post
outandabout 27
A pair of the showa gloves arrived yesterday, have to say I'm very impressed with them. And at last..... WARM HANDS!!!!!! If these can stand a couple of weeks use, I won't be going back to nitrile gloves. Thanks to all for the recommendations Quote Link to post

shropshire mole 190
But how long will they last? what is the dexterity like?? Quote Link to post
budgie123 163
I cant remember where I read it or it was possibly on a trianing course but I was made aware mole carry weils disease. Disposable gloves always since. Quote Link to post
Dr mole 15
I've tried and given up with anything more bulky than nitriles. I can get through half a dozen a day though with the cheaper ones what with them tearing. I like the Touch n Tuff's. They last a lot longer and in the winter I place my cheapo nitriles underneath for an added layer. Justgloves.co.uk have a good offer on at the moment, buy two boxes for free next day delivery. Cheaper than Killgerm without the delivery charge. Quote Link to post
comanche 3,076
But how long will they last? what is the dexterity like?? Dexterity is good enough to feel the indent of a Talpex trigger -rod set humble of the hole in the plate. They last Ok. To be hones,t they seem to be the same gloves that retail for £3.99-£4.99 anywhere else. Quote Link to post

All said might be a good glove for the money, but the downside being the are a bit more numb than the gloves I posted as they have a thicker rubber, they also are not fully waterproof, the showa ones are which I prefer as I use the back of my fingers to smooth runs, and most of the other types let water into the glove through the back which isn't coated. I've worn rubber disposable nitrile gloves when I've had no proper ones at hand, they tear easily especially the fingers and your hands get cold pretty quickly..everyones different, but I've always preferred these.
