Bunnyblatter 1,012
Red filters are a must where I shoot. Got the tip from Moxy. They don't move at all where as with the white light they're off like Usain Bolt 1 Quote Link to post

random 659
Some good shots there,do any of you use amber filters? I've been using one for a while and had some success, but red seems to be by far the most popular... Quote Link to post

Ferret kent 12g 17
Hi mate, What time was you out from and till? I went out last night got to the field at about 5:30 to set up. by 6:45 I had about 30 rabbit on the field but all out at round 70-80yrd mark. But now reading about the white light is that why I couldn't get near them? Ended the night at 9:00pm and got 5 rabbits. Quote Link to post
j j m 6,561
The whitevlight usually spookes them mate, I go out 2 till about 430 mate thats when the bunnys are most active on the golf course Quote Link to post

Ferret kent 12g 17
The whitevlight usually spookes them mate, I go out 2 till about 430 mate thats when the bunnys are most active on the golf course That's about the same times I go if I'm lamping with a shotgun but if I go out with the air rifle at that time the rabbits are hard to get near as they are already out. Went out last night 12:00 till 2:30 and got 6 and one baby rabbit. With red filter on this time? Quote Link to post
j j m 6,561
you just have to try different times at different areas mate some times your lucky,i try to keep to the same time as usual, but after ive taking a good few bunnys i leave that area for a bit ive heard some people on here hitting the same spot night in night out for months ,then they wonder why theres no rabbits simple you have nearly took them all or they are lamp shy,i always like to let the population grow a bit no good clearing them all up theres no fun in it move around any you will have bunnys all year round Quote Link to post
