Fool.   A pup of that age is going to be scared of new things if they are not instantly pleasurable. Many pups of that age are still with their dams and littermates. Personally I wouldn't be attempt

Leads a must for me from a very early age. Due to roads and what not..

At 7 weeks I wouldn't be worried about it. Let him settle in etc and then worry about the lead after he's jabbed and can go out.

Take your dog out with another dog keep both dogs on lead :thumbs: . Your pup should follow.

Meant to say it probably won't even know it has it on, and if it does realise and refuse to move, bring the other dog on lead close by and start again and pup should follow.

leave the lead on him out the back 10mins couple a days

That's me too..leave the lead on him in the house or in the garden until he becomes accustomed to it attached,probably chew it so put a cheap one on lol
