Why would they give you top dollar for half the product? Best way is to strip the amour/outer Then tie a long length (longer the better, you just got to have space)of inner cable to something strong a

Not worth starting a fire for put it that way lol

Household cable I.e. 2.5 & 1.5 T&E is down to £1 a kilo at the min

Bright wire prob £3 a kilo.

I strip anything from 10mm upwards right down to the copper core. Any smaller and I just strip the armouring off and weigh it as household

i have a wee stripping machine here runs of a drill good job..cost 550 but paid its self 1st job.

My lad used to do scrap job 14 yrs old he made a killing all motors out of washers or cars hed weigh in together all cable in bagged up even household plugs he was gettin 145 ton plus all side bits copper alloy brass on off wheel barrow bringin home £300 -350 week or so but too many jealous people out there because he was collecting same as them gettin more on barrow than them in vans its not worth it now £95 ton

Theres a banging film about a young lad scrapping... The selfish giant. Well worth a watch and brought back some memories.

90s good going mate wish it was down here time you done your diesel lucky to take 30 quid home. Been doing more rubbish waste clearance trying get the gardening going again for summer sick to death scrap now after all the new licences and no cash for scrap bolloks its ruint
