Excellent stuff..there is no getting used to that initial first 20 minutes mate,I always say "never again" but for whatever reason I go and do the same shit the very next day..you've had a real good march doing five peaks,i like it up on Haystacks on a decent day but it nigh on is always misty, wet or blowing a gale when I go haha..did you do Green Gable or Great Gable? Great being the bigger and the one which is dome shaped,Honistor slate quarry car park or Buttermere? There's nothing for the dogs to get excited about up there lol, just thousands of fell sheep but I suppose it also gives the dogs a different kind of workout as opposed to the norm and they seem to enjoy it..I like those days when I see nobody, don't get me wrong I'd not be saying that if anything went wrong lol as there's no phone signal or nothing up there..place I like as good as anywhere are the Langdales mate, can be busy but I just keep off the paths haha..can walk for twenty miles if you so wish and more..dogs will get scent up there for definite ??
