While appearing before Llanelli Magistrates' Court, Jason Duncan Hearne, 41, pleaded guilty to using racially aggravated words to cause harassment or distress to Leroy Emmanuel Hutchinson on November 14.

Prosecuting, Nick Newton told the court that Hearne had been drunk in the Melbourne Club, when Mr Hutchinson who is of Jamaican descent, tried to escort him from the premises. It was then, using expletive language and calling him black, Hearne, told Hutchinson to "get his hands off him".

Mitigating, Peter Rhys-Jones said Hearne did not remember using racist terminology but accepted the evidence of two witnesses.

Hearne was ordered to pay £75 compensation to Mr Hutchinson, £85 prosecution costs and a £60 victim surcharge.

I always get confused what to call them 1 day theyre black next day theyre coloured, I just call them nig nogs saves any confusion

It's almost as if you can't call a spade a spade.............

Call them whatever you like but a black man calling a white man names in Britain should expect a slap same as a white man calling a black man names in Africa should expect a slap.......simple common s

think his best defence if he puts an appeal in is to get several ahem `blacks, coloureds and niggers(ok for then to call themselves that)` to stand up in court and say there, WTF they want to be called, although there may be more to this than just calling him black

The problem would not be that he called him Black, it would be the other descriptive nouns he added to the back of the word Black.

But you`re all right,, they never know what they want to be called from one day to the next, so I use the same term for em all.
