Where To Buy A Good Ferret Box

As above really, I went out with a pal today and picked his double d&d ferret box up and it weighed less than half my home made box.. D&d seem to have stopped making boxes.. Where else sells good lighter boxes..

moxy used to make boxes not sure if he still does but there are more a work of art the one I use most I bought off ebay just a large single light as any thing cost bout a tenner and you can stand on it as its that strong

all id say is get a bow back box,anything other than that nothing but grief and pain when out for a long day

Ive got a Moxy double bow back box, brilliant best box Ive had. I also have a single poacher style bowback box I bought on ebay which is pretty good.

I no they are expensive but got a plastic double box from falcon fabrications and glad I spent the money it's really light and strong no problem carrying it around allday

Yeh you do mate,,,vin has a couple of these boxes in difrent sizes,,,and they do make condensation bad.....in fact just this week he has drilled more holes in the lid to try and combat this exact problem,,,,

Ferret boxes can be a pain going up and f own steep hills better for the ferrets but seriously think going back to pillow cases lol

Northenlight,,,,I have a little single box,,very lightweight made from somthing like 6 mil ply,,,it's only as big as one of them poachers boxes,,,but I have had two good sized hobs in it,,,,it's less than half the weight of my double box from simon whitehead wich is proberbly 9 or 10 mil ply,,,,,

 

Even though it's light I can still sit on it

Just been out to measure ,,,,my little box is 9 mil ply 13 inch wide by 8 inch,,,and 6 inch from the middle of the bow....

 

The bigger box is 18 inch wide by 10 inch ,,,and 8 at the bow,,,,and is 12 mil ply

I'm the same tomo got a We single box made out of plastic light as well just find them a pain when you have your bag and ferret box just with the walking you do and they fecking hills a quads the thing lol

Joe1888 I've had a look on the web site and there are no prices or contact details, unless it's just my iPhone that doesn't work on the site... Have you any ideas re price.. The suggestion made by Terryd doesn't have a bow back which I would prefer.. The other ones on EBay look ok, but nothing stands out...
