Not only is its content wrong but the way it's all laid out is confusing and difficult to follow.... unclepesta 101 Posted June 10, 2015 Report Share Posted June 10, 2015 i have posted up on this one cos im waiting on a call back from natural england i called defra they didnt know and directed me to natural england wildlife section.. im sure i will get a call saying its ok. but that does not put it in writing on a trap order. i agree with most of the comments made i just think considering the the size of these organisation and funds available they could update and have a very clear policy with all included traps and clone spec requirements and stuff a simple online update would be refreshing im sure most agree. please note they treat the 120 as a trap included that can be cloned along with the 116 so its not a clone allowance on the 120 it stands as a listed trap that can be cloned???see article below it reads the following but theres a link too. Under the Pests Act 1954, only approved spring traps designed to catch and kill rabbits humanely may be used. Those currently approved by the Spring Traps Approval Order 1995 are the Imbra Trap Mark I and Mark II, Juby Trap, Fenn Rabbit Trap Mark I, Fenn Vermin Trap Mark VI (Dual Purpose), Springer No. 6 (Multi Purpose), Victor Conibear 120-2, BMI Magnum 116, and clones of any of these listed spring traps. heres the link scroll down to spring traps http://adlib.everysite.co.uk/adlib/defra/content.aspx?id=000IL3890W.18MKA1DOSIK6VZ .. trouble is 120 aint listed they say you can clone these and 116 cos they are on the list, this could do with putting clear, the trouble is you end up with nobody knowing and then trouble starts. some guy saying its ok on the phone to me is not helping the genral public.. poor information lots of grey areas and so much searching. belise 110 is 4.5 inch that should be a suitable clone.. if not the whole thing is a total mess and confusing. it could do with a list of all the makes of bodygrip or conibear and send the lot in and get a paper answer and reply. there are some good traps available but people are unsure. needs a list and send it in get a answer once and for all... include alibaba stuff too and see where the buck stops with it and why. 1 Quote Link to post
