GruffaloGriff 1,859
Bit of an ongoing project this one. Rebuilding my old grey fergy using only recycled sheet meatal, matching curves from stainless steel sinks etc to match the old shapes. Ok so i could buy new panels etc but where is the fun in that? Pics so far.............

redial 81
Good work, I remember when most farms had a clump of nettles with an old tractor in it. Nice to see them being given a new life, and in this case using old / made materials.
Wullz 408
Going to take it round the shows? There is a real scene for the old stuff at the agric shows....always like watching them. Cracking job on that, very clever using the curve on the sinks!!

GruffaloGriff 1,859
Proper talent their mate , bet it will look the nuts when its all done ..was the engine & box rebuilt ? Cheers mate. Engine was re-built not long before i got it so looked like nothing at all but was a good runner. In the latest pictures you can see my "custom" cold starter, a tin of brake cleaner that injects straight into air intake, much kinder on the engine than easy start. There is an original cold start system but it needs a bit of work, might get round to sorting it out one day.

Great job, to be honest I was a bit sceptical when I seen the first photos but it has really turned out well. Did they not run on TVO? I seem to remember in the back of my mind something about it, from my long distant youth. TC
