My sister wanted to join the police force,at the time they took into consideration her family,she was not allowed to join and never thanked me for it,ungrateful soul.One time in my immature life i hated plod with a passion borne from them doing their job,with maturity i realised it was not the plod at fault,much of the time,that realisation came about because i needed their assistance and will for ever be grateful for the professional way they went about it.The vast majority of plod are the backbone of our society and something we rely on for our welfare,at times again,ive been in situations where their biggest critics have been their biggest supporters,when relevant,the rest of the time they are a target for the immature and unlawful souls amidst us.

When my lurcher, a saluki mix and on her lead, was attacked recently on a walk through a nature reserve, by a huge loose bull terrier mix, resulting in both my dog and myself receiving pretty serious bites, her to her rear end and me to my hands and forearms trying to fend it off 'till owner turned up (when she did, we argued, she accused me of starting the fight, l made her put the dog on a lead, watched her walk 20 meters and let it loose again, whereupon it immediately lunged at a guy on a bike)

 

I was close to the road and when l got there l stopped a passing cop car, both my dog and myself were bleeding, they showed very little interest, telling me l was not attacked but had 'intervened in a dog fight', and they basically cared not a jot about the idiot whose aggressive dog was still rampaging throo the nature reserve.
