morton 5,368 Posted February 7, 2015 Report Share Posted February 7, 2015 Hello, as most of you are aware me and my husband had our pups stolen, and because we got them back the police classed it as a civil matter and we did not get justice and the thieves have got away with it. I would like to know how many people have had similar situations happen, and if i get enough people who were not happy with the police I will bring this ongoing problem to the interest of the government. Kind regards Mrs Elvin The police are under goverment pressure to reduce the crime statistics,however and whenever they find the opportunity,thus they attempt to get away with doing Police work,i.e. charging people for the crimes they commit.Put in an Official Complaint about their lack of Police Action on the matter,it won,t do much good as they investigate themselves,but it will go on their records,they don,t like that and if enough people make the same type of complaints they will then be pressurised into dealing with them more appropriately.Sods law is the only law the dog nappers are worried about. I'm a gamekeepers wife, I beat at every available opportunity, my father is a falconer and lamping on neighbouring land, I shoot fox, rabbit, rats, pigeon, pheasant. My uncle owns a shoot, you have clearly seen my lurchers that i run. Enough said.. Link to post
