mazda b series and ranger are same truck, bt50`s are rangers as well, only new model ranger is different, made in south Africa and so many problems there the waiting list when first launched for the 3.0l model was over 12 months, avoid any model using discs on the back, they usually do not have lsd`s and use abs pump to control grip, works fairly well but eats rear brakes if used off road

Eye, the ranger and mazda are the same yoke!!!

Ive had a hilux, top notch, no problems except hard on juice, same engine as the hiace so says alot about reliability.

Had a ranger for a short while, good value for money but in the older ones about 03ish ive heard alot of horror stories and my back axle fell assunder!!

Mate has an l200 and you would want to be sponsored by shell if your doing a bit of milage!

Had the defender 90 200tdi, mighty yoke but not for much road work, too much of an agriculteral vehicle!!

The navara is a sack of shite, never had one as ive heard too many mechanics condem them, engines are soft as shit, ring a scrappy and look for an engine for one.... Usually a waiting list on them!!

Few mates have d maxes and dont have any bother, the older ones were the same as the vauxhall pickups.

Im contemplating one of the new vw amorak's but word is they are giving gearbox trouble so not too sure....
