I think Wales are at the same stage England were in post 2003. A great side coming to the end of their self life. Wales should have pis*ed all over an injury hit England last night, but they just didn't play very well. (Warrenball didn't work) Some of the best backs in world rugby didn't gel at all in the second half, which is strange when they've played together so often and played ok in the first half. The forwards lost out in the set peice, and apart from the back row the rest looked ordinary.

Alot of the Welsh lads have been at the top of their game for a long while now and maybe it's coming to an end. Time to rebuild methinks. Could be to late for the World cup though. The next game will be important.

i think the cup winning england team were a great side, look how they bossed the southern hemisphere teams, but wales haent been a great side, just a good team playing in a mediocre six nations championship. wales have been content to be the big fish in the little pond, but not done the necessary work to shine on the world stage. they will struggle in the world cup, as they have in most previous ones.

i thpught an inexperienced england team would be too brittle across the back line, but in fact i saw more invention and creativity than i have done for quite some time. if those lads had played some more game time together previously they could easily have scored a couple more tries. the welsh, i felt, brought little imagination to their attacks. i believe the welsh were lucky not to get a proper thumping, thats what they deserved.
