socks 32,253
Had a nice easy job yesterday ferreting some burial mounds ... Nice and open not to many holes per mound so ideal for a training day for a pup ... As I was walking around taking a look at the place and I noticed lotty wasn't around so I gave a her a short whistle and in the distance I could hear a high pitch squeaking getting closer and closer ... I was chuffed that she had caught herself a young rabbit and was retrieving it nicely ... As she got closer I realised she was bringing me a live squirrel carrying it by its back leg ...after convincing her to put it on the ground and not in my hand lol I could see that she must have gave it a bit of a crunch so I quickly dispatched it and let her have a run around with it ... How she didn't get better I don't know ......... A few pictures of the day ........ http://smg.photobucket.com/user/ratcatcher1/media/imagejpg1-91.jpg.html][/url http://smg.photobucket.com/user/ratcatcher1/media/imagejpg2-23.jpg.html][/url 13 Quote Link to post
