villaman 9,983
Very nice ,it all depends on what they have been feeding on ,if they have been feeding on chestnuts or hazel nuts they taste the best imo
fireman 10,859
Made a squirrel and pheasant stew in a slow cooker a few weeks back and they taste ok, but the last ones i let go to the game deeler as i couldn't be bothered with the effort of peeling them as there hard work to do.. .. Very true what villaman says and the last lot i had had been eating pheasant corn and were a little fatty and greasy, autumn deffo best time for them..
