Rotex R8 Swap Wanted

Recommended Posts

Dont be so silly, the standard trigger is not good, creepy and not very adjustable, potentially dangerous? Do tell me how (this should be good) when you have no idea of the modification I mention, and how do you know I have no gunsmithing experience? You do presume rather a lot my man ;)

More utter ďross "not toally unexpected"

Make a claim know to Walther, you are openly and publically suggesting their trigger arrangement is potentially dangerous .. Walther vs an Airgun tinker'er from blighty lol

Out of interest purely ! ... which of the triggers on your newly purchased Walther Rotex RM 8 " .177 calibre " and Walther Rotex .22 calibre "did you deem the most potentially dangerous .. l'm presumming you have both from new.

Regards diy modification such as yours, that potentially could result in an unexpected discharge .. And your happy to peddle unproven, non certified mechanism alterations that could fail at any given time causing serious injury ... is your modification sanctioned by Walther ?

You attempt to back up your" improvement " with utterly false claims " of the standard trigger being potentially dangerous ... l hope you carry excessive indemnity

What on earth are you rambling about man? I was not claiming it was potentially dangerous, I was quoting YOU, saying the mod could be dangerous, in future I would make sure you have had a few less special brews before posting and making yourself look an utter fool, which is what you have done ;) I am not sure if I have harmed you in a previous life but the way you have ripped into me, without having a clue about what you are talking about suggests I possibly have :icon_eek: I have no intention of taking this hi-jacking of the lads thread any further by arguing with a complete bafoon like you, now take your drunken, rantings and do one.

My face isnt red CC .. l dont doubt your intentions were genuinely well meant "though dangerous" ...what spoilt you're stance was when you started to fabricate claims ...the fact you drone on about the rifle you have never owned makes you enertaining, though totally pointless ... but if it floats your boat, crack on telling people advice that you grasped from a notion.

I dont doubt you know your way around anair rifle, ld guess you actually know more about air rifle than safety .. a dangerous mix... so Charles ... which of your two purchased Walther R8's has the most dangerous of trigger? .. and have you sent an engineers report to Walther yet .. or are you baseing your guesses on fiddling with a Walther CO2 jobbie ... either way, you can have the last word .. just dont endanger people and stay safe yourself .. Adieu

Fabricate claims, and what might they have been then? And please enlighten me at what part did I say I owned two r8s? I also know my way around shotguns, rimfire and centerfire rifes, so please dont presume to lecture me about something I have forgotten more about than you will CLEARLY ever know, you keep referring to the modification as dangerous, how can you possibly say that when you have absolutely no idea how it is done, clearly you think anyone who tunes/modifies an air rifle or firearm themselves is some kind of accident waiting to happen, perhaps all the other lads on here who "tinker" and "tune" their airguns are equally dangerous? You are still not carefully reading what has been said, I suggest you re-read it all again in the morning, when the ale has worn off, and you will see what a plonker you sound like.

      Evening all,
      Not looking for permission!!
With a lack of game on my ground, I'm looking to get a bit of hunting with ferrets and hawk in exchange for an experience day out with hawks.
I have my own ferrets, hawk, collars, long nets and insurance.
      West Midlands based.
      Pm if you are interested.
      Kind regards

Fancy a change so here up for shops is my 1.77 tweaky regged s200 mk2 but with a mk3 stock. It has 4 x 10 shot mags the gun shoots spot on altho it does need a loading bolt seal which has never bothered me
The gun shoots perfectly as you would expect from a regged gun.
I'm wanting to swop with something with a higher shot count
      No bsa super 10s tho
I can email pics on request.
      Thanks for looking,
