trigger2 3,137
i was after some advice on my hw100kt. i was out using the gun yesterday and had filled it to 200bar before leaving the house i used 12 shots out of my first magazine and just happened to look at the gauge on the gun and it read 90bar. as luck happened i had my bottle with me and filled the gun back to 200bar popped a new magazine in and continued shooting, anyway in my excitment i used the whole of the magazine and looked at the gauge and the gun read 160bar so i popped the other mag in and had another 6 shots and the gauge read 150bar. i got back to the car and just topped the gun back upto 200bar as i new it was playing up a little anyway after 8 shots the gun has used 50 bar and at that i called it a day and went home. now i have just checked the gun and its still reading 150bar so it isnt leaking. ive had the gun from new and its only about 8 months old. when i first got it i was using 3 full mags and only using about 70 bar of pressure, it then got as 2 mags were using 70 bar of pressure and now it seems to vary every fill. could anyone please advise me on what could be causing the problem. and should it be fixed under gaurantee. i would just like half a idea of what the problem is before contacting the shop i bought it from thanks trigger2 Quote Link to post

tomburras 2,729
I had this and it was a nick in the fill port seal, sometimes it sealed and sometimes it slow leaked. Quote Link to post
barrywhite 282
your gauge may be faulty , temperature has some effect on pressure .If you have a leak that comes and goes it could be the filler valve or the firing valve not always seating properly after use . among other things ....also the o ring that connects the air cylinder to the gun on the hw100 is a bit weak easy to fix Edited February 5, 2015 by barrywhite Quote Link to post
trigger2 3,137
thanks for the info lads ive been back to the dealers today and the gun was using 10 bar per shot when they fired it but wasnt loosing power according to the chronograph. the gun was stripped and checked for leaks and none were found they then fired 60 shots from a fill before the gun started to loose power then 66 shots on the second fill. as i need the gun over the next fortnight they were happy for me to bring the gun home and use it. they tell me they will speak to whierach and inform them of the problem, and have asked i keep a note of how the gun performs over the next 2 weeks. ive just got back from a outing and first refill 8 shots used 60 bar so i refilled to walk the other half the farm and 28 shots have used 50bar. looks like its got to go back to the manufacturer. shadow_sniper 47
There has to be a power fluctuation because if the first 8 used 60 bar and the other 28 used 50 bar it means ur first 8 shots are more powerful than the 28. Or it could be a faulty pressure gauge Quote Link to post

Or it could be a faulty pressure gauge i hope it just a faulty pressure gauge. you can fir the first 8 to 10 shots and look at the pressure gauge after each one and you can see its moved. been out with the gun today 50 bar for the first mag 25 bar for the second on 3 occasions going by the guns gauge. what gets me is both the gauge on the gun and filling bottle read 200bar on refill. whats the chances of both gauges being faulty.
