torchey 1,328
So what did you end up paying in the end? Theyre good them pliers i lost my pair but the little setting tool is still a good bit of kit....was it through ebay the lot you got. Quote Link to post
Grizzly 26
I've never used them myself but have a couple of friends that use them and they seem to love them. One of my mates used 2p pieces as triggers as he'd lost the original ones, reckons they work just as well and always finds them wedged between the side of the trap and the mole... 1 Quote Link to post

bryn27 89
As a side note I will be spray marking my traps in future alongside flag marking, some idiot left a gate open and 300 ewe's came onto my patch and knocked the markers over.Think I'm only 3 traps missing (duffus) the talpex were still easy to spot. shropshire mole 190
I purchased 16 traps and the tool for approx £31:50 delivered, so not bad. Purchased direct from Andre at Lab Roman, see pic previous for details Have had a practise setting them, they are tough little things to set, can see a trapped finger if not careful. shropshire mole 190
Regarding markers!!! I loose loads of traps each year, some taken by fox/badger, some when the marker is trampled and moved by sheep etc. I do try and mark with bright tent peg markers in areas where safe to do so. Where public access is concerned I try and have pieces of wood etc covertly placed to remind me, at the time I am sure I will remember as it looks so obvious but the next day, its very different, sometimes I use a metal detector to help locate them. No easy method, as long the price charged covers the lost traps or at very least the cost is covered over a few jobs then I think its ok to lose some Quote Link to post

bryn27 89
How accurate are these regards locating a trap, never had anything to do with them before? Quote Link to post
Mr Muddy 141
It'll get you within a couple of meters mate, you'll probably still need some sort of marker (depends how long the grass is). They work for me is all I can say; it's very, very rare that I either lose or lose count of my traps since I've had one. Quote Link to post

PLEDGEY 496
Those look like the ones ... I just I wish I could speak French to order them ....... Just google 'English French Translator' or 'French English Translator', all acording to which way you want to translate, and you'll have no problems. Works with any language. Quote Link to post
