Mystery Illness

Recommended Posts

So took my hob out of the run first thing, looking sprite and eager for the task, into the carry box and his enthusiasm continues right through to putting the collar on him. . I drop him into a run through, he plods on through 10 seconds or so, when he came out the other end he's like a different ferret! Classy eyed and lethargic, oddly his lipstick is out like he's ready for a gill in heat! I'm mystified, never seen anything like it, he's back in the run now, still looking ill. . Any ideas? No apprent pesticide in the set. 3 year old ferret, last fed Friday morning. Usually as right as rain! ?

That's a odd one.

If he was only out and about for ten seconds or so, I wouldn't have thought it was much to do with anything in great outdoors though.

If it were my fert, the first thing I would do is get some grub in him.

Fingers crossed he's back to his old self soon enough chap.

Cheers Mr G - he's marginally better now. I gave him a rabbit on returning and he had a pheasant over night on Thursday, nothing done out of ordinary. Still scratching my head, odd. . Vet check if he's not right tomorrow afternoon I think. Cheers

Good luck with the vet if it's needed mate.
