bobcullen79 1,495
Agouti? Or make your own. I bought a small sheet of brass off evil bay and cut my own, a few different sizes. I didnt like the black stuff the ali ones left on your hands as I heard aluminium is poisonous to the touch once you wear the layer of oxidization off. 1 Quote Link to post

bobcullen79 1,495
Only what I heard at the time Les. Just looking into it a bit further now and apparently Aluminium toxicity is believed to be linked with Alzheimers and Parkinsons worldwide. Theres lead workers on the roofs still working bare handed, I wouldnt.. I think it was on How its made, I heard it. They were specifically referring to freshly cut ingot/round bar. The narrator definitely said the fresh cut edges were poisonous to the touch until it had oxidized.. Quote Link to post
bobcullen79 1,495
I`ll have one of the "hollow" 56mm Smithy, they look smart them, do they make the trapping part of the knot any easier on the thumb? Quote Link to post
