Agouti? Or make your own. I bought a small sheet of brass off evil bay and cut my own, a few different sizes. I didnt like the black stuff the ali ones left on your hands as I heard aluminium is poisonous to the touch once you wear the layer of oxidization off.

I use a brass one also , Found the brass at work ,

However i just measure my bank card and it is just the right width only a little short

That is a oz bankcard , drivers licence

You could use anything of the right dimensions

Aye mate 53-55mm will be fine. those meshboards you sent me down are great bits of kit, you wont be disappointed threelander :thumbs::thumbs:

i use brass mainly for my boards, polish them up on the wheel,,, the meshes slide off nice and smooth.

also got a 53.5 tall board made from 1.5 stainless with a rounded corner but not got centre cut out

That's me knackered then Bob, been making stuff out of ally every day for 36yrs.

Only what I heard at the time Les. Just looking into it a bit further now and apparently Aluminium toxicity is believed to be linked with Alzheimers and Parkinsons worldwide.

Theres lead workers on the roofs still working bare handed, I wouldnt..

 

 

I think it was on How its made, I heard it. They were specifically referring to freshly cut ingot/round bar. The narrator definitely said the fresh cut edges were poisonous to the touch until it had oxidized..
