Shadow it's different types of proven, there's game ness, stamina and the general all rounder, which do you mean? Big rabbits?

ya mate big rabbits and what i mean by proven is a dog thats got it all for the big ears over a period of a few years cause as you probably know alot of dogs start off well but just cant hack it over a few years hard runnin

nothing wrong with putting abit youth and vigour on an old bitch...it all a gamble anyway

take your point on board mate but dont totally agree youth shouldnt have a whole lot to do with the mateing i think its more important to breed from proven stuff unless you have lost a line a bit and you have something that wasnt proven off the same line then you could take a gamble just my opinion bud

first I think its down to proven line s and a dog or bitch should show the can do it in first season and injury free should get better and better

a lot of dogs can take 3 / 3 but not all can take 5/5 and so on and dog or bitch that can take 5 s on regulary is top dog ect

I wouldn't breed mine until iam happy. And they done some proper season work under there collar.

Kat was 6 when she had her pups and star who iam breeding now as well 5.

But I don't just look at that as a reason to breed not just cause you got a good seasoned worker. The other factor is where the pups going. And who are they far.

I need another generation for me not interested in the money side as most only ever breed for money. It costs next to nothing to breed a litter maybe £100 at the most. Listening to these lot on here with the dogs fancy coursing names then they splash it on here they got a litter coming up how much one says £500 they say wow. What a joke. Not just these sites breeder through out. f****n robbers plus most of it is lies

ya mate your right thereare a lot of peddlers about and the prprices for services are ridiculous and you can breed good stock if you breed from good honest stuff whether it has a name or not but there are some lads that pay that big money cause they really want the particular dog and they just sell a couple pus to make the litter a bit cheaper those lads are the ones I would go to as for the most part they are breeding for themselves not getting two dogs who are off so called champion bloodlines and trying to make a killing off of em.the game would definitely be a lot better without those guys

Well the Buddy dog was apparently passed from pillar to post and wasn't worth a toss when it came to working ability yet it landed in the hands of Nuttall and he bred loads of litters from him..plenty of good uns came from him did they not? If anyone else had bred from such a moderate worker they would of been shot down in flames imo..plenty of good talkers who can bull a dog up in this game and none more so than in the coursing side of things as afterall this is where the dogs for some stupid reason make the big £££££ ..
