Lovely looking pups, but f**k them tails are a disgrace, what excuse did the breeder give for butchering them like that??One is a genuine mistake but he done it twice.I hope they work out good for you.If they were mine everytime I would look at them I would see the tail first LOL

I'm sure the law was applied and a vet docked them and believe it or not IMO vets are some of the biggest culprits for docking too short.

Who cares anyway !

Raymond they're lovely pups and they're the spit of two pups a friends got off Ken G. about 20 years ago.

Are they that breeding by any chance ?

The man who cut those tails is an ape.It would make you think the man who bred them is probably fairly green and that would make you wonder how well bred they are.Maybe I am wrong and no offence meant to the man who owns the pups.

theres plenty of decent breeding in the pups, sure there showing lovely signs already.there for me to ruin or bring on. I will do my best to encourage the positive progress of the pups.

Heya Neil, they are from workers to workers all the way. Thats all the research I did on the pups. Sure it shows in there behaviours and attitudes already at such a young age. I could ring one of the lads later and find out if they know anything else other than worker to worker.

I agree about the vets can do shobby docks aswell. When it was legal to dock an old fella showed me how he did it. H e would cut the tail, pull the skin back slightly and nipp a small section of bone. When you let the skin go back into place thers no bone right at the tip of the tail.Doing this the dog develops a thicker layer of skin at the end of the tail. I remember years ago some of the doberman breeders docking tails. If you touched the tip of the tail they would nearly drop there arse to the floor.Ive seen dogs try to sit down with there docked tails just to jump up as the tip of the tail was sensitive to touch.
