Nobby8126 96
Everyone on here raves about the quality of product and service and of course not forgetting value of les's nets, all of which is justified but I thought it only right in the interest of balance to put the negatives down aswell. 1, since owning one from just before Xmas my wife and kids have forgotten what I look like 2, I spend a great deal of my spare time walking backwards 3, I have had to endure the pain and suffering to my face due to the excessive smiling which occurs shortly after a bugs has wrapped itself up. 4, I cover more ground as previously unworkable sets are now fair game 5,I have had to improve my fieldcraft and hunting knowledge to shepherd then into said net. 6, and finally I have had to sharpen my knives more frequently due to increased bag sizes. So to summarise since owning one of these bloody things I have got fitter, happier, perfected my moonwalk and become a more effective hunter, so anyone thinking of taking the plunge just make sure you are ready for that level of commitment. 12 Quote Link to post

Tiercel 6,986
To be fair, Les's nets are nothing special, he will tell you that. They are just nets rigged how they should be. What is special about his nets and his service is, it does what it says on the tin, and you actually get what you pay for. A net that catches rabbits, delivered when stated, with no holes to fix before you can use it. TC 1 Quote Link to post

TC My nets stand out because i dont cut corners, I wouldnt sell something i dont use myself or wouldn't be happy to pay for. Too many will cut corners to save a few pence or they simply dont know what a good killing net is. Quality gear at a fair price and i'll never move away from that. 9 Quote Link to post

As I stated people get what they pay for, a net that catches. After being a long netter for 25 years plus I know how a good net is made and what it can do, opposed to nets from the likes of JBS. Your nets conform to the standard of nets I was selling years ago. Nothing special, just good honest catching nets. It really used to amuse me though when people emailed me and asked how to use a net. Then once they had received the net and used it and it caught for them, would leave feedback that they were the greatest nets on earth. Like they would know what a good net was! I was not knocking your nets in any way. In fact I applaud they way you go about sourcing the best sheet netting to keep a standard of nets that cannot be beaten, for catching ability or for price. fluff 409
are the hand spun or just sheet netting rigged its not rocket sceince , buying sheet netting , rigging it 100yards long, fifty yards set for your kill , you could teach teenagers to rig nets or immigrants lol fech in hell , as 14 15 year old kids we made our own out of old linen salmon nets and sea trout nets ,35 years ago ,no computers books just trail and error and useing your loaf , had a few feck ups but was all in the fun of it Quote Link to post
