terryd 8,737
years ago i lamped my Whippet X bedlington ist cross who was 18 inches, although no where would you class her as a lamper, she was a ferreting dog, I could pick up 6 to 8 rabbits with her, which was fine by me. there's photos on the working whippet forum, with lads that lamp their whippets, and do okay. ditto I used to take mine out with a couple of lads who had there big lamping dogs and she certainly did her share if I used me head and picked her runs. Was quite comical her stood along side there 25 inch muscle bound hounds and her tiny little scruff arse looking mongrel lol. Such a convenient size nice and inconspicuous pop her in the foot well of the car or lob her over a tricky fence or squeeze under. Pop under the arm if needed for what ever reason. Didn't no she was in the house Edited January 31, 2015 by terryd 2 Quote Link to post
