Just kills me relying on lifts, last night i went lamping and managed a handful of long runs for dogs which were mostly double up but that made no difference and then the snow came. So we blanked but dogs had some good exercise Then i was out ferreting today with somebody else, spot on day bolting to dogs and managed 3 rabbits. Put two young ones back. FERRETBOY 680 Posted February 2, 2015 Author Report Share Posted February 2, 2015 Had a good morning bolting to the dogs again. Old Fly caught well and my pup marked like a pro, even after bolting one rabbit. She returned to one hole, I entered the ferret again through the same hole and another bolted. I really prefer this type of hunting now, to laying nets. You might catch less but its better sport and enough escape to breed for next year. Place I went to yesterday has a healthy population and I think its down to not hitting it hard with nets. Follow my blog for up to date write ups. Quote Link to post
