squab 2,875
iv been toying with the idea of turning a brick shed into a ferret court, the thing is there is no window fitted to the shed so obviously its pitch black,i have no means of attaching an outside run for them to use or fitting a window so my question is would it be fair to only use artificial lighting within the court, set on a timer to replicate normal daylight hours,if yes what sort of lighting would be adequate,if its not something anyone would recommend il leave it,any help on this appreciated cheers Quote Link to post
Jax13 251
would it be possible to put a small window in the building? even with a light in there, there really is no replacement to proper daylight and a bit of fresh air 1 Quote Link to post

The one 8,511
No chance you could put a run on it like the dog runs for the ferrets ? As you can't really expect to keep any animal in complete darkness Quote Link to post

vanman1 411
what type of roof does the shed have? You could replace with clear roofing sheets or put a velux in! Quote Link to post
