i was out with the nv last night ,i shouldnt have even gone out to be honest ,probably scared more than seen lol ,my mate wanted to go out so off we went , way to light for me , i just cant get on with this tv screen nv ,nowt wrong with it clear as daylight out to 200yds ,& damn good for ratting ,but carrying a big heavy rapid about & scanning all the time is hard work even on the sticks i use so back to the torch . , few rabbits about but i was takeing long shots they spooked easy as expected ,long night trudgeing around 3 farms with nowhere near the amount of rabbits about there was ,i took 600 in a few weeks off one farm ,you can only kill them once as they say , either way after walking around for 4 hrs we had 8 good headshot bunnies for the freezer all to my rapid , im thinking off leaving them alone now to let the numbers rise ,with ferreting & lamping you soon can clear a place , cheers

hes a good farmer , a nature lover he likes to see stuff about ,he likes the way i work , allways leaving a balance , i have to leave a rabbit each time ferreting for the buzzards he tells me ,which i do ,

cheers mac im determined myself to use the nv kit so when the snow goes its time to get on with it ,, matt , i eat nearly all my rabbits ,i never ever waste any game i shoot , its sacriledge to shoot any edible quarry not to make use of it ,in my book

I had one night out with my new NV mate and its gonna be a battle. I can tell already. Arms never ached so much!! All that fannying around with the power too but it is good for NOT spooking them. My lot run on red lamps, now if they run, I know its down to my shite stalking skills!!

HAHA! Our lass bought me a new pair of Karrimore (however ya spell it). High top boots, thermal lined, like walking on cushions of air wrapped in cotton wool. Silent as a mouse me now haha!
