No did doesnt take too long to set up. It light weight which speed up getting into position and in soft ground the poles push into the ground quite quickly.

 

It has bobbins on the drop poles so you only have to wrap the head and foot lines onto which doesn't take too long. Half hour in soft soil

Do you have kick plates on the bottom of the poles to help with getting them into the ground?

No kick plates I just use a steel pole to make a pilot hole for the poles in hard ground. A foot plate would make the pole bulky.
