Whippet Question.

if you had permission on land that was fairly easy going on the dog so hopefully low chance of injury,with a fair few rabbits but not much else would you go for:

 

a working bred/ped whippet ,a racing whippet,a small x?

 

for lamping and bushing.

Got small dogs starting from 19tts to 21tts and they do me fine for the rabbits with no problems

yeah i like to see a fast dog run even if its fetchin a tennis ball,dont a lot of racing whippet have a lot of greyhound blood?

the only odd one out there is the bushing. any lurcher or sighthound cross will deal with rabbits. a bushing dog is something else. seen a fair few whippets and lurchers that will hunt cover and knock up their own game but seen plenty that won't. i'd probably go a whippet bed .
