WILF 48,281
I would not bat an eyelid about lads who are on the pavement, banks can afford it and the insurance companies ain't exactly skint, some one mugging and old lady would be a different story. I dont get too excited or hysterical as i accept theres people who dont have the talent or work ethic to make money and will instead take risks.........so id just call him a thief. Would you use the same word to describe a thief and a paedophile then ?

Wilf its a fair bet they started out mugging & house breaking before getting into blagging , I cant see them going from being straight to bank robbery in one move .. And what exactly is the difference between the poor bloke in the shop that got turned over by machette weilding bandits or the old granny who got clobbered and her bag snatched ?.............always makes me laugh how 'some' folk have twisted double standards about 'okay' crimes............im sure the shop owner is thinking "thank feck they turned me over instead of clobbering Granny Smith "...... ............some numpties on here

dare 1,103
Lets be honest given the chance to be apart of something as big as the train robbery and believing you'd get away with it who wouldn't want to be involved? As for robbing a little shop id say its probably a desperate thief, i mean whats he gonna get after being ripped off on the price for what his stolen? Not much i bet. I don't think the blokes a hero or a good person but guess what there is bad people in the world. Far worse are running the country not that it makes it excusable but people get more outraged by this sort of this shit than what the mps are upto. The greatest crime is to be poor.

gnasher16 30,597
Bell if you can put a thief and a paedophile in the same sentance.......or compare blagging a shop to ironing out an old lady......then you just have to accept you live in a different world to most people.
bwfc 164
If he was robbing a shop & someone from your family was on the wrong end of his chosen weapon !... he's a fcuking robber , he wouldn't think twice about beating the shite out of any poor sod behind the counter to get his easy money ..he's a thug , more power to the guy who tried to stop him ..I've had to work my whole life to pay my way , what gives him the right to do fcuk all but thieve from working people .. if everyone caught up in an armed robbery co.opperate its a victimless crime the insurance pays out ..the robber gets his few quid its forgot about Thats rubbish,if a person is made to fear for his own personal safety because they are caught up in a robbery, then its not a victimless crime. bwfc 164
The old saying, easy come easy go is about right when you talk about robbing and thieving. The money isnt earned honestly nor it it worked for,so it holds no value at all. To me theres a big difference,to some obviously not!.
