BLACKBOB 9
Right, i need some advice on a problem i have with cats. Im hoping to move home in about four weeks, the property i bought had a very boggy overgrown garden and i have just spent 10k sorting it out. Anyway ive managed to dry out the garden and split it into a combination of patio, lawned area (well going to be) and barked play area for the kids. Last week i bought a load of bark from B&Q as it was on offer and although it wasnt the best stuff it was cheap enough to put a couple of inches over the 36 square meter area. As the patios are being laid this week, i decides this afternoon to give the bark a bit of a rake as it was a bit dusty. This is when i noticed the amount of cat shite that has been deposited in it. Now how do i deal with this. Before you all start with which would give me no greater pleasure, i am surrounded by neighbours, and as there seems to be no other hunters around me, the sight of me walking around with the dogs, guns, ferrets ect. accompanied with the sudden disappierence of moggies in the area people will start to Now the solution needs to bear in mind that 1) the area is a kids play area so chemicals and poisonous materials are a no no unless safe to kids 2) the garden is just in front of my kennels so any type of noise, could start my dogs barking 3) i didnt want to be using anything unsightly as ive just spent a fortune making it lovely So has anyone got any suggestions before i concrete the lot Cheers bob

Guest Xanadu2
snares, fen traps, antifreeze, gun, all after dark of course...... Hi Folks, I have a similar problem and all my ideas are illegal, except to have a big dog and encourage him to chase them. Anitfreeze is something I haven't thought of. What effect does it have, and will it damage young plants, please?

Guest Ditch_Shitter
Just look at them go! F*king teenagers and Fantasists ... About forty quid gets ye a Sonic device, mate. Not one of these stupid, worthless things ye plug into the wall for mice etc. Big, real one. Makes a very high pitched squeal. Pretty much inaudible to us. Don't point it at ye Dogs though. Torment them. Won't work on all cats, all the time. But they generally don't like them.

waz77 15
Try a substance called Renardine, designed for the job,its a smelly substance, put it around perimeter of fence it should do trick.Anti freeze kills by destroying the kidneys,a nasty death for any animal, including your dogs and kids if they get to it,imo anyone who'd consider using it should'nt be allowed near animals
