Top man is vin,,,,he's only got it working

Now That's What I Call A Result !

Its working perfectly and measuring perfectly (well as perfect as a mk3 gets).

3 years on the ground, exposed to all the elements of nature. . . I would say to anyone who's got a bad word for Deben to re-consider there issues..lol.

I have a brand new mk3 and a spare that were giving me problems recently regarding readings and the new one wouldn't even start up one morning...I have now placed them in separate bag to wet nets etc etc and I removed them from the van in-between trips out, keeping them dry.. They have been 100% more reliable since then.. Plus they don't like being dropped on hard surfaces..lol. it tends to snap the ariel .

I've lost everything when I've gone rabbit blind in the past :tongue2: :tongue2: ... on my 3rd opinel knife this season :whistling: .. you get to the point where all you can see is a blur of fur and its up your nose in your eyes on your hands on your sleeves and you cant escape it..You just have to bow down and shake you face in the wet grass like a dog...lol. well that must be it. ..

Or soppy sack backfilled it ?

If it were back filled,,,,it would have never got found,,,,and anyway I reopened that hole,,,,I've feeling it's dropped out my pocket when I was picking up that preset longnet,,,but feck know why we never found it again we looked all over that banking many times,,,,,I'm just glad I never bought a new one,,,,and just kept using your spare one,,,,I would have been sweating like a nun in stringfellows,,,if IDE spent 160,,,,and now it's found

I take it the box was in the off position otherwise you could have found it with the collar of the ferret. I always leave collars and box on untill Ive left the field and on the road. Probably went through more batteries this way.
