No big bag or anything,,,,couldn't get the van up on to the moor,,,cos the track was to icy,,,,so had to change plans,,and scratch around one of the farms,,,in the woods,,and ruff areas,,,only 19 today,,,but grand to be out ,,,like them pics you put up Andy it was clear as a bell,,, 2 Quote Link to post
trigger2 3,145 Posted January 20, 2015 Report Share Posted January 20, 2015 Was up at 4.30am today to make ready for a road trip for a reconnaissance mission just to see what if anything was on the ground, I only took the Pom & the old one eyed cur x Don,I went dressed in all my hiking gear,rucksack just the usual crag rat lookalike..on arriving I was greeted by a winter Wonderland. .the snow was ridiculously deep in places..it made walking up the mountain seriously difficult, infact it's been years since ive had such a tiring walk..I seen literally thousands of prints off what I went in search of but then again there was thousands of my boot prints too lol..I only seen ten in total but atleast I know there located in that area which is the main thing..Don will be 6 in a few weeks, has only one eye and has had a broken leg and being over half collie with the remainder just lurcher blood even in the snow nothing was ever going to be easy for him haha..a few pics from earlier today ") great stuff fuji. i like the first pic amongst these photos as it looks a great place to have a mooch about. 1 Quote Link to post

I was nice and toastie...lol We had to use nets today.... It was no fun for the dogs. . But the young ferrets got a good workout and the digging kept me warm. Quote Link to post
