Rake aboot 4,936
Never ever muzzle a ferret. One of the worst practices of the dark ages, along with bread and milk. 3 Quote Link to post
pie-eater 377
Im sure I saw muzzles for sale somewhere so I don't think theyre illegal although they should be. Ive never seen anyone use a muzzle but I did find a hob with his teeth snapped off a couple of years back. Ive never seen the logic in muzzles and teeth snapping, surely a ferret needs his teeth to bolt stubborn rabbits. Quote Link to post
Gaz6br 193
Never muzzled a ferret, never fed them bread and milk and never had a problem Gaz Quote Link to post
Mr Goodcat 69
Never have, never will. But I would like to be there when someone is going to attempt to start pulling teeth. 1 Quote Link to post

TOMO 27,274
Not my thing these muzels,,,,however after watching those films of ferreting in lanzerotte they put a string muzel on,,, and the rabbits live in rock cracks,, caused by the larva from the volcano,,,, in those circumstances I can see the value,,, as there would be no way of digging a ferret out Quote Link to post
brookie 1,193
ive never done it nor would .all your going to have with a muzzle or no teeth is an arse scratcher and never a quick bolting ferret .do the job right and it should be in and out if the ferrets worth his salt same as if he kills in . .a lot of problems with ferrets is from starting em of to young and bred from poor stock 2 Quote Link to post
