Casso 1,261
I am part of the old "white flight " to Ireland although my wife is from Belfast anyway. We are moving to the republic, got to say everyone in the shops about the town has been very welcoming when I have popped in and been chatting to them. They seemed happy to have people coming in rather than leaving. The biggest problem us English have is keeping in mind that you are in someone else's country, you have to fit in and respect their way of doing things.......after all, that's why you are going there because you like how things are. As I say, everyone has been spot on with me. Where abouts have ya settled Wilf, much hunting about ?

AKA-BRINDLE 879
Just how many of these "British" claimants abroad are born and bred here and have been here for three generations? Theres a lot of truth in what your getting at there..also should be mentioned....those figures are for 'Unemployment' benefits...all those immigrants that come here and do a couple a days on the car wash...and claim top up benefits... are not classed as unemployed or claiming unemployment benefit...who would of thought what this country really needed was soo many hand carwashes!??...makes you wonder who owns all them old garage sites?????
