Another Teaching Day For Lotty .......

Recommended Posts

I've had lotty out a fair few times ferreting on small warrens where the rabbits are straight into the nets and she has been nice and steady so I decided to take her local to a medium sized warren where I could get the longnet out and give them a chance to run to the net to see how she behaved ... I was pleasantly surprised at how chilled she was ... She marked the warren when we got there and followed the action underground and didn't hesitate to pin the rabbit in the net ... All followed by a cracking retrieve ......

Pics are not the best as they are off my phone .............

I like to see a pup out and about learning its trade,to many believe you stick them in a kennel and run, then at 11 months of age they are ready to be let loose and kill.
