Thanks ??? What does this mean ... Please Imping is the repair of a broken or damaged feather ( often the tail feather ) You can cut below the break, insert & glue in a short length of carbon fibre rod, leaving perhaps 15-20mm sticking out. Then you need a matching feather, cut to the length of the missing piece.....you can now glue that onto the excess carbon fibre rod....eh voila, you have a new working tail feather. 1 Quote Link to post

Yes you would keep the tail feathers, providing they weren't damaged......if kept in the right environment, they will keep for years to come..... 1 Quote Link to post
