Am looking to improve the the odds in mine/dugs favour, So am asking members opinions on the best lamping conditions to the worst, also what kind of weather/conditions wouldnt you run your dug on? TOMO 26,435 Posted January 18, 2015 Report Share Posted January 18, 2015 I don't agree that rain or drizel combined with a windy night is best,,,,it's a good night yes,,,but not the best,,, Best of all weather conditions for lamping rabbits,,,is in my opinion,,,when you get a rise in the temp,,,combined with with very windy night,,with no moon.... What I mean by temp rise,,,is an unseasonly rise,,,for example,,,avrage night time temps this time of year might be around 4 c,,,,if it rises to around 10c,,,combined with a very strong westerly,,,,then your on for a great night...but of course such nights are not comon 4 Quote Link to post

TOMO 26,435 Posted January 18, 2015 Report Share Posted January 18, 2015 I tried some I had in my shed,,,,lasted 5 mins,,,,mind I think it's the wrong stuff,,,I used some white decorators chalk,,,then put some puncture repair kit patches on top,,,,then black electric tape over that,,,,,a few mins on the hill in the heather,,,and my fat size 11's were wet,,,lol Just been to decathlon and got some new wellys for £24 Quote Link to post

Decorators caulk lol....do like a bit of rain when out though rabbits seem to sit a bit tighter, worst thing when its wet is fur always ends up round your fecking face itching like f**k Quote Link to post

I used approx a 1/4 of tube and once it was set just tidied it up with a blade, if you've still got yours I'll forward you the rest of the tube I have . 1 Quote Link to post
