coling 0
Hi all I have on my ticket a slot for a 44 to shot at my local club , I have never had a under lever before and wondered if any of you guys know the ones to avoid and the ones to go for . On our range we have an indoor 25 yard and a outdoor 100 yards and this is all I would use it for. I know there's henrys, Rossi , Winchester but as I said I don't know which ones are the betters ones. Your thoughts please gents would be appreciated. Regards Colin Quote Link to post
celticrusader 78
Marlin and Winchester are good, tbh some of the new Italian reproductions arnt suppose to be too bad at all, read up on them off the internet bud and I'm sure you'll find info off of them on which to avoid. Obviously some will say one more than the other but then I think personnel preference will come into account with a lot as well. Edited January 17, 2015 by celticrusader Quote Link to post

SportingShooter 0
Has anyone in the club got a few for you to try? Calibre doesn't really matter, just to see how they perform Quote Link to post
Yokel Matt 918
Short barrelled, wooden stocked and with even a moderate (let alone spicy homeload) it doesn't take too many shots to want put it back in the cabinet. Be good for deer in thick cover... and apaches. 1 Quote Link to post
