I'm ok on basics on lightroom but watching loads of YouTube video still finding it confusing but I get confused crossing roads Is it look left or right 1st? Lightroom would be best for you in my opinion because it is what you would use for adjusting exposure, colours,white balance etc and is also great for b&w conversions. Photoshop is a huge tool and while it is brilliant it isa lot more complicated to use. Just my opinion no doubt someone will be along to tell me I'm wrong Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Just my opinion no doubt someone will be along to tell me I'm wrong agree and you can set your own preferences to speed up your editing, i use lightroom 5 then flag any i want to export into ps cs6, you can do the same in ps but its a bit like using a steam roller to make pastry Quote Link to post Share on other sites

paulus 26 Posted January 18, 2015 Report Share Posted January 18, 2015 youtube is full of PS tutorials PHLEARN are good, theres hundreds of ways of doing the same things in PS, i once spent an hour watching a tutorial on how to do something, then the next night watched another that showed you how to do the same in 5 minutes you really do need to understand about layers and layermasks before you can begin to get to grips with it.
