The one 8,486 Posted January 18, 2015 Report Share Posted January 18, 2015 With my luck it was maybe tempting fate talking about them but yesterday filled the big freezer in the garage with rabbits and pigeons and the lid hinge broke had to take a hacksaw to it too close it and its sitting with a slab on the top of it just now im going to watch Gumtree etc and replace it sod trying to fix it Looking for a six foot chest freezer cheap and delivered to FIFE Quote Link to post Share on other sites
treecreeper 1,136 Posted January 18, 2015 Report Share Posted January 18, 2015 you need dual thermostats, iv got one in the garage that must be 20 year old but when its cold the thermostat still kicks in but on the newer ones they cut out and then thaw. my dads did it the other week when it went cold.
