I get mine from Halls Tripe Factory in Sunderland but might be a bit of a trek for you, I've tried DAF and found the choice fantastic and reasonably priced

Have a look on their site http://www.daf-petfood.co.uk

Fresh raw tripe, minced chicken, minced beef, liver etc

I pay 40p per lb for raw tripe and I think it's 60p per lb for minced chicken, beef, liver etc

Like I've said above I use Halls in Sunderland, bonus is that sell in 1lb blocks so can mix as much or as little as you like...

Used DAF for a while and steer well clear of them now.. Go and take a look at the place in the summer.. Boat loads of open topped containers stood outside containing tripe, carcass, all stood in the sun waiting to be minced.. Flys all over it. I had several batches of the chicken that was stinking when defrosted.

I now use E Halls in Sunderland, can't fault the mince its fresh and dosent smell. Good quality, I use the chicken and beef. The delivery service can be hit and miss but I generally go and pick it up.
