ferreting_man 1
Hello all I was wondering if I could get advice on what breed of dog would be suitable for a youngish man. Preferably a type what are quite easily trained and got that natural kill instinct. I would like a dog for rabbiting. Please advise thanks
General lee 979
I would suggest a collie greyhound for lamping and ferreting I assume that's what you want it for

South hams hunter 8,922
A halfx collie may be abit smart for a newbie and silly little mistake that we all make could become magnified. Perhaps a beddy/whippet
delswal 3,819
With SHH on that one, young lad starting the game rabbiting ect, beddy x whippet from good stock, the chances are the dog will teach you more than you teach the dog.

Stud dog 632
I would go for a quarter collie or beddy don't matter what running dog is in it or lurcher to lurcher bred you won't go far wrong with a good lurcher to lurcher
