Lamping last night

Fieldmarshall had been talking to one of his old army mates asking how he was getting on like and the talk got round to dogs his mate then says his dad and brother were into the dogs so Fieldmarshall invited them for a look out he said on the phone that he ran a pure Deerhound bitch and a colliex gh dog i was looking forward to watching the Deerhound run .When we got down to the farm the weather was spot on good windy night and cloudy .when we started to lamp there was rabbits out but not big numbers the lads colliex started to pick up a few then they ran the deerhound and it picked a clapper up out of its seat it didn't bring it straight back but the lad got it to come in with it after a it ran around with it for a bit Fieldmarshalls dog was running well but mine took a while before he caught one he wasn't having much luck rabbits getting into walls and going to ground . I was impressed with the Deerhounds strike she did well for a big dog .The lads enjoyed the night and so did we nice to watch some different dogs run.The colliex is not in the pic as the lad had put it i the van.

i was also out last night at a diffrent spot , up there with a new mate we got 28 no pics though.

We had 30 Tomo we will have to get down and do some ferreting mate was talking to Fieldmarshall to sort a day out while he's off work.

YES WE WILL MATE , GOT IN AT 4.30 THIS MORNING , AND UP AT 7.30 TO TAKE TRINA TO WORK, AND NOW I HAVE TO GO AND DO ALL THOSE BLOODY RABBITS . GOT A PULL ON THE WAY BACK LAST NIGHT , AND THE TANK DIPPED FOR CHEERY.

 

ITS A GOOD JOB I DONT USE IT OR IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A LONG WALK HOME. ROUND TRIP 300 MILES
