Country Joe 1,411
There is no way, that i usually agree with Cameron, but he said today he wanted to bring in new laws to tighten up new ways that Terrorists can communicate, which i would agree with. Could not believe that Labour and the Libs blocked it.
Born Hunter 17,751
That's how British politics work. The right say X is black and immediately the left protest that it's white. Thinking doesn't come into it.

Kay 3,709
Good idea am all for anything that limits the way these terrorists communicate
terryd 8,364
If they want to communicate over the internet theres a thousand and ones ways to do it so I wouldn't fancy there chances. Might be better off spending the time and money else where
ChrisJones 7,975
Changing laws to restrict communication restricts everybody.
norseman 424
terrorists were communicating long before facebook came about, making it easy or difficult they'll still do it
terryd 8,364
When you see the likes of what hackers did to sony I doubt any one would be to worried about the govs little messenger blocks. Don't get me me wrong good to see they want to act but they need to think it through
rodp 316
It's just idle chat, it's what they think we want to hear. Sort of "Ooh, look, the government are clamping down on them " yeah right, ok, we believe you.
bracken boy 584
we should all back the goverment if it helps in any foooking way, we want these scum sucking parasites disabled..
Born Hunter 17,751
I haven't read what Cameron has said he wants to do... I'm far more interested what the director or MI5 thinks we should do! A lot less election winning politics involved in that man's opinion.
rodp 316
Backing the government is the right thing to do, I agree. But only if they're doing something that works. How the hell is blocking faceache and that sort of thing going to stop them ? More to the point, how they going to block these mass media sites. Do you think Joe Bloggs the doley is going to put up with it when he knows it won't work ? Block all the sites if you want, that still leaves verbal, telephone, mobile phone, satellite phone, fax and even pigeon. Not to mention Royal mail, 1001 parcel carriers, two cans and a piece of string, etc, etc. They need to make it law that you do anything against the well being, and traditional way of life, of this country and it's population and it's deported or life. They have to step in at the mosques, schools and islam clubs and pull the leaders before they can spout their rubbish and come down like a ton of bricks on them. Make an example of them.. If I phoned you and said "point A, 17.30" who would know what it meant (even you wouldn't at the moment ) But you see what I mean, no-one would know anything until it was to late.
